The AJ Bell Great Scottish Run is a 10K and Half Marathon organised by the Great Run Company on closed roads through the heart of Glasgow.
Both races start on St Vincent Street and finish on Glasgow Green. The 10K heads through the city centre before crossing the River Clyde and returning towards the finish, while the Half Marathon continues through Glasgow's south side and green spaces before heading back into the city.
The 10K starts at 08:30, followed by the Half Marathon at 10:10. Both races are chip timed, with runners starting in waves according to expected finish time. Live music, entertainment and enthusiastic crowd support add to the atmosphere, while finishers receive an event medal and finisher's pack.
