Thousands of runners returned to the streets of the city for the 2026 Nottingham 10K on Sunday morning (8 March), with a new course record highlighting the popular event. Organised by Run For All, the race welcomed participants of all ages and abilities who gathered in the city centre to take part in the much loved event.
The men’s race produced a standout performance from Joe Crutchley, who surged clear to set a new course record and take victory, breaking the previous mark by almost four minutes in a time of 31:49. Kole Perkins finished second in 33:05, with Jack Dakin completing the podium in 33:40.
In the women’s race, Claire Frankland claimed the title after crossing the line in 36:20. Francesca Sedgewick finished second in 38:40, with Molly Uren taking third place in 38:48.
Crowds lined the route to cheer on runners throughout the morning, creating a lively atmosphere across the city. At the finish, participants were rewarded with a goody bag, post run refreshments and a commemorative medal.
The event once again raised thousands of pounds for a number of charities, including Base 51, Framework Housing Association, Jane Tomlinson Appeal, Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance, Maggie’s, Mansfield Cat Rescue, Radford Care Group and Stand Against MND.
Tristan Batley-Kyle, Operations Director at Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All, said: " “It was fantastic to bring the Nottingham 10K back to the city’s streets once again. It’s always great to see the community come together – whether people are chasing a PB, running for a cause close to their hearts, or simply enjoying being part of the event, all while raising vital funds for charity.”
