Trails On Tap At Blackpit Brewery
Race Line Running brings its Ales and Trails series to Blackpit Brewery on 18 October, with the returning Blackpit 10K joined by a new 5K...
This relates to: Blackpit 10K
Blackpit 10K returns on Sunday 18 October 2026 as part of Race Line Running's Ales and Trails series, with a new 5K giving more runners the chance to join the action.
Based at Blackpit Brewery near Silverstone, the event occupies an unusual corner of Buckinghamshire between the famous motor racing circuit and the National Trust's Stowe Gardens.
Both distances use a multi terrain course incorporating private trails around the estate, woodland and bridleways. Race Line Running describes the route as undulating, although relatively flat by the standards of its other events.
The addition of the 5K is the big change for 2026. It provides a shorter alternative to the established 10K, while the two hour cut off makes the event accessible to a broad range of abilities.
There is one water refill station, but runners will need to carry their own cup as this is a cupless event. Free downloadable race photographs are also included, while the event is fundraising for Silver Star.
The Ales and Trails identity really comes into its own at the finish. Runners return to Blackpit Brewery where their rewards include a medal, pint cup and a Blackpit beer or soft drink.
The racing starts at 10:00am. For once, getting back to the brewery really is part of the race plan.
Entries are available now via the runABC race hub.
