Early Birds Fly To Glasgow

Early bird entry for the 2023 Great Scottish Run opens today...

Want to be a part of one of the country's biggest events in 2023? Like to bag yourself bargain when you can? Well you can 'kill two birds with one stone' thanks to early bird entry opening TODAY for this year's Great Scottish Run

With a city centre start and finish, the Great Scottish Run is a celebration of everything that makes Glasgow truly great: inspiring urban architecture, green spaces, history, music, strength, spirit and, of course, great people, personality and humour.

Thousands of runners take part each year to challenge themselves and to raise money for good causes. And Scotland’s friendliest city always delivers on the support front too, with crowds of locals turning out each year to cheer and high-five from beginning to end.

In October 2022, the Great Scottish Run made a grand return after a three year absence with over 20,000 runners taking to the city’s streets. Two of Scotland’s star athletes were on hand to set the pace in the 10K and half marathon with Eilish McColgan and Callum Hawkins both part of the action.

Speaking after the event, Paul Foster of the Great Run Company said: “We’re so happy to be back in Glasgow after three years of cancellations due to the pandemic. It was incredible to see 20,000 runners of all ages and abilities on the city’s streets this weekend. Some were running for charity, some for the challenge.

“The people of Glasgow always give our runners an incredible welcome and support them right along the course, the atmosphere was absolutely incredible.”
