Double The Fun
There's another location for MND Scotland charity runs in 2025...
After the huge success of last year’s event in Fife, MND Scotland is set to bring even more excitement in 2025 with not one but two Fun Run events. Following an impressive turnout at Lochore Meadows Country Park of 125 supporters (who collectively ran 625 kilometres and raised over £11,000 in 2024), the charity is now aiming even higher.
The first event will take place at Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Park on 6 September, followed by a second run two weeks later back again at Lochore Meadows Country Park in Lochgelly on 20 September. Both events promise an inclusive, fun-filled atmosphere for participants of all ages and abilities.
Everyone is welcome, from families and groups of friends to individuals, workmates and even furry companions. Each event will offer entertainment, food and drinks, and the chance to connect with MND Scotland’s fundraising team. Those taking part are also encouraged to dress up and embrace the festive spirit.
Participants are encouraged to raise at least £100 in sponsorship to help fund support services, research and clinical trials. A spokesperson from MND Scotland explained: "Every penny raised helps us support people affected by MND and fund research and clinical trials to combat motor neuron disease."
