Team players wanted for two of Run For All's biggest events

Run for All seeks team players

The Run For All team have laid down the gauntlet for teams of runners for two of their biggest events, the Leeds and Sheffield Half Marathons. A popular feature of both half marathons, the team challenges are open to groups of friends, family and work colleagues who compete to lift the title of fastest team in the race.

For 2020, business communication specialist The Technology Group will be taking on the sponsorship for the challenge for the first time. As well as providing sponsorship for the half marathon team challenges, The Technology Group has entered a six-strong team in the Yorkshire Marathon Corporate Relay on Sunday 20 October in support of the Jane Tomlinson Appeal.

David Marsden, the group’s co-founder and acquisitions director, said: “The Technology Group are honoured to be a sponsor for the Jane Tomlinson appeal. In line with our social responsibility commitment, we aim to make a positive impact on those around us.

“We have proudly donated £11,000 worth of communication services providing the telephone system and support in the head office as their main communications partner for the past 6 years. The TTG team will be looking forward to participating in the Yorkshire Marathon Corporate relay in October.”

A fun (yet also mildly competitive) feature of the half marathon events, the challenge invites minimum teams of four to come together to set their fastest pace across 13.1 miles. The average time of the first three home is used to calculate the winners.
