The Kent Spring Marathon & Half Marathon is organised by Nice Work from Woodchurch in the Ashford district of Kent.
The accurately measured road course explores the quiet, wide country lanes surrounding Woodchurch, with the Half Marathon completing one lap and the Marathon covering two laps. The undulating route passes through green fields and rural countryside in the heart of Kent, providing a scenic but testing alternative to flatter city races.
Both distances are licensed by UK Athletics and are suitable for experienced competitors as well as runners stepping up to the Marathon or Half Marathon distance. The event has a six hour cut off and includes volunteer support around the course. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and free race photographs, with trophies and prizes for leading runners. Free parking is available, while a junior race also forms part of the event programme.
