It's The Long Awaited Return Of The Woodhall Spa 10K
Lincolnshire’s leading road race will finally get moving again
Runners will have a PB in their sights at the Woodhall Spa 10K which is ready to take off on Sunday 11 June. They’ll quickly get up to speed on the fast, flat course which starts and finishes at Jubilee Park.
A joint venture between registered charity Jubilee Park and Curly’s Athletes, the Woodhall Spa 10K is back after a four-year absence. This is music to the ears of the running community who’ve missed the PB-course, scenic location, themed medal and the friendly atmosphere. Its popularity is as such that there was a scramble for places and these have completely sold out!
Runners will be ready for the off at 10am from Stixwould Road to follow an attractive route around Woodhall Spa, passing through the villages of Edlington and Stixwould. They will head back towards Jubilee Park for a sprint across the finish line to cheers from spectators and volunteers.
Their reward is a bespoke medal and cake (always a vote winner) and hopefully, a shiny new PB. Spot prizes will be handed out during the race; the top three men and women plus age group winners receive theirs afterwards.
This event supports Jubilee Park where there is plenty to see and do: a heated lido for that post-race recovery swim, a park to stroll through, gardens to explore and a play area for children. Not forgetting the caravan and camping facilities for anyone wishing to stay for longer and make a weekend of it.
If you've been lucky enough to secure a place, provisional athlete information pack is available to download via the Curly’s Athletes website.
