Summer trails advice highlight on Run And Become online series

Edinburgh retailer develops online series to bring running advice and inspiration to a screen near you

Popular Edinburgh running store Run And Become has like so many organisations had to adapt to the difficult circumstances of the last year. And that adaptation has seen a successful series of online information sessions and classes.

Now Run And Become's Adrian Stott is highlighting his 'Summer Trail Running Tips' event. The respected retailer, a enthusiastic ultra and trail runner in his own right, told runABC Scotland: "This event will be a highlight of the series."

Adrian continued: "We're hosting the trails advice evening with La Sportiva and the company's UK representative John Samways, an experienced hill runner, is on the bill. He will be joined by locally-based Rachel Normand, winner of the 2018 Highland Fling, and GB international Kim Collinson.

"This is a knowledgeable and entertaining group of speakers and they are certain to provide lots of inspiration for both seasoned trail runner and those new to the sport. Longer days mean more opportunities to explore the trails and hills and the 'Summer Trail Running Tips' event comes at the right time for advice on training and kit choices."

The Run And Become online series also includes yoga classes and a session on Integrative Nutrition' with Meryl Cooper, which Adrian tells us has already attracted considerable interest. He hopes to build on the success of the last year's virtual development and continue to offer a service that's not limited by geographic location.
