In Pursuit Of Trail Happiness

Still time to bag a spot at Trail Pursuit's free, guided Lake District run...

Perhaps you're new to trail running and would enjoy exploring 'off the beaten track' with a community of like-minded people? Maybe you are training for a future trail race or simply want to share an adventure in a beautiful setting? If any of these strike a chord, how about bagging a spot at this weekend's Trail Pursuit Run Club?

There are still a few places left for the Lake District Run Club - a free guided 8K exploring the stunning locale which is perfect for beginners and experienced trail runners alike. Taking place on Sunday 13 March, the run starts at Rydal Water car park before heading out around the lake taking in a climb up to Loughrigg Fell, where participants will have views to the north over Rydal, as well as views to the south over the town of Windermere.

The run club is ideal for anyone new to trail/hill running but is equally beneficial to those who have some level of experience but want to gain more of an understanding and confidence in trail/hill running in a friendly group setting.

Organisers say: "We are a community of trail runners and adventurers who share a passion for the outdoors. Join us as we inspire each other to push further and explore the wonders of nature together! Our aim is to support you, beginner through to experienced runners alike."

You can find out more and book yourself a slot by visiting the Trail Pursuit website.
