Be First In Falkirk

Scotland's newest half marathon is filling up fast...

Organisers of Scotland's newest half marathon set to take place in Falkirk later in the year (November 20) have been overwhelmed with entries since they went live at the beginning of March, commenting recently: "The uptake for the Falkirk Half Marathon has been EPIC! We've sold just over 60% of race places already and cannot thank you enough for all your support."

There is of course still plenty of time until race day itself, but with places rapidly diminishing if you want to be at the startline in Falkirk Stadium then you better get your skates on and sign up!

To whet potential entrant's appetites, more details about the route have now been released with an illustrative map outlining the course showing what entrants can expect. Organisers have said: "There are just two slight inclines through this race, one at the start as you leave the Stadium and the other on Kemper Avenue.

"The route is extremely scenic, generally flat and follows the canal path for which Falkirk and the surrounding area is so well known."

Proving you don't need to be running in a big city event to see some spectacular sights, this event will showcase Callendar House, the Kelpies and the Falkirk Wheel - all world-class attractions.
