Stay On Pace At Colshaw Hall 10K

If you're after a scenic and fast 10K this summer - look no further...

If you're chasing a personal best over the 10K distance this season, and you would like to achieve that glory over a scenic course, then take note that the Colshaw Hall 10K will have pacers covering a range of finish times, from 40 mins to 1 hour 15 mins on race day - 11 June. With the race being billed as 'the most stunning race you will do all year', it sounds a match made in heaven for aesthetically minded PB chasers!

A previous entrant had this to say: "The 50 min pace maker was awesome. He kept his eye out for me and got me over the line under sub 50 min.....bloke is a legend."

Starting and finishing in the grounds of the majestic Colshaw Hall Country Estate near Knutsford, the race sets off in the shadow of this beautiful Grade II listed building in the Cheshire village of Over Peover. It then snakes through closed leafy country lanes passing the iconic Lovell telescope at Jodrell Bank. Runners then return to Colshaw Hall for a stunning finish along the tree lined driveway.

Organisers, Run Cheshire & Gogledd Cymru will once again provide cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd open male and female, so if speed's the name of your game, why not try your luck at winning a podium place?

Last year's winner was Ben Fish, a Blackburn Harrier, who stormed round the course in 31:13, while the first female was Hannah Cowley of Cheshire Dragons. She secured her winning place with a time of 38.03.

Not so concerned about your finish time, but keen to know what 'added extras' the race has planned? Well, fear not - there will be a drink station at the 5K point with plenty of food, refreshments and goodies at the finish line not to mention a bespoke medal for all finishers for which the race has now become famous.
