Winter 5K Series Tees

Have A Blast This Winter

Join the fun at the remaining two races in the BTR Winter 5K series...

BTR Liverpool's 5K Series got off to a great start at the weekend with the Autumn Leaves 5K taking place in Birkenhead's Arrowe Park on Sunday. The peak autumnal date provided a beautiful auburn scene for runners to take in while challenging themselves over the undulating course.

The three-race series takes place in and around Merseyside with runners invited to join the fun at the remaining two events - the Bonfire Blast and Winter's Trail. Race organisers say: "If you've missed out signing up for the first of the three Winter Series 5K races but would still like to run and collect all three medals then why not do the Autumn Leaves 5K virtually? Simply email and we'll do our best to arrange."

It's time for a break in October before The Bonfire Blast explodes onto the scene on 5 November at Hoylake Promenade. This race offers runners a flat course to test their speed over.

And then it is into December and time for the last race in the series - A Winter's Trail which is scheduled for the 31st - a fitting end to a year of running. This race takes place on the Wirral Way between West Kirby and Thurstaston. If you have not been to Royden Park before then it offers a great 5K route around the park with a bit of a challenge along the way.

The medals and t-shirts (pictured above) are particularly eye-catching and certainly worth signing up for. Organisers comment: "If you like your bling then the medals will be superior quality with a lot of colour and glitz! They will certainly stand out in any medal collection."
