Run Aintree Half Marathon, 10K & 5K January is organised by RunThrough and takes place within the grounds of Aintree Racecourse, home of the Grand National.
The flat and fast course follows paths around the racecourse, with predominantly smooth tarmac surfaces and a section of trail path through the centre of the venue. The Half Marathon has approximately 83m of elevation gain, making the event suitable for runners chasing a personal best as well as those taking on their first race of the year.
All three distances are chip timed, with kilometre markers, marshals and water stations supporting runners around the course. Finishers receive a themed medal, post race goodies and free professional race photography.
