The Richmond Half Marathon is part of the Richmond RUN-FEST weekend, one of London's most popular running festivals. Starting within the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, the event combines a fast course with historic landmarks, riverside scenery and a vibrant festival atmosphere.
The 13.1 mile route begins in Kew Gardens before following the River Thames through some of south west London's most attractive running locations. Runners pass landmarks including Ham House, Richmond Riverside and Teddington Lock while enjoying a predominantly flat course on roads, paths and riverside towpaths before finishing at Old Deer Park in Richmond.
With its unique start inside a UNESCO World Heritage Site, picturesque Thames-side setting and fast profile, the Richmond Half Marathon offers a memorable half marathon experience for both first time runners and experienced racers.
