Cattle Creepy 10K

Creeping It Real

Time to get your Halloween race plans sorted...

If you're looking for some spooky race action this autumn, you'll struggle to find something more 'horrific' than the Cattle Creepy 10K which will terrify runners on 26 October at Wolverton House in Milton Keynes.

The event is part of the Cattle Creep Series, a set of three trail runs which also includes the Cattle Creep A Little Further - a 10 Miler that takes place in February (2024 date set for 18 February) and June's Cattle Creep 10K (2024 date set for 20 June).

Organisers say: "For those who don't know, and want to know what the names of our races are all about, a cattle creep is a small tunnel used by farm animals to move from one place to another.

"On each of our races you’ll pass through the cattle creep on your way back to the finish line, but don’t worry, the cows don’t use the tunnel anymore!"

October's race is a spooky version of the tried and tested Cattle Creep 10K with runners enjoying a fantastic 10K riverside run through the less well-known parkland of north Milton Keynes. The route uses the old cattle creep to take runners under the Grand Union Canal to the parkland on the other side.

Organisers tease: "If you think the Cattle Creep 10K is fun during the day, then the Cattle Creepy 10K is a must-do. Head torches at the ready and ghouls and ghosts around every corner. And what is lurking in the tunnel... there is only one way to find out!"
