Follow that trail into Comer Woods at NT Dudmaston

Comer Down To The Woods For A 10K

Free, once a month trail run near Bridgnorth, Shropshire

Fancy a free trail run in parks and woodland at a working estate in Shropshire? National Trust (NT) Dudmaston invites you to join them for a trail run on a waymarked route through Comer Woods to enjoy the spectacular views.

These free trail runs take place on the fourth Sunday of every month starting at 9am. Dogs are welcome too so it’s a good one for canicrossers and there is a backmarker to keep everyone safe and on track. They aren’t timed runs so participants will have to record their times via their own timing devices.

Run two loops at this challenging 10K then relax with a coffee and cake afterwards in The Cafe or opt for the shorter 4K course which is also open to runners with a buggy although the 10K route isn’t suitable for buggies/pushchairs.

The area is popular with walkers and cyclists with its well-established pathways, woods and fishing pools. Strolling or pedalling past Big Pool, Brim Pool and Seggy Pool whilst appreciating spring flora and fauna. Runners will take all of this in as they make their way through this beautiful location.

Turn up ready to run, register for the 10K or 4K at The Cafe by Heath Barns then off you go!

The next Trust 10 trail run is on Sunday 23 April. More information about the event and NT Dudmaston in general can be found via the National Trust website.
