The Suffolk Back Yard Ultra follows the popular last person standing format, challenging runners to complete a 4.167 mile loop within each hour. A new lap begins every hour on the hour, with participants continuing until only one runner remains able to complete the course within the allotted time.
Set in the Suffolk countryside, the event combines endurance, pacing and mental resilience in equal measure. Distances build from Marathon and Ultra Marathon territory into extreme endurance running, with competitors testing their limits as the field gradually reduces throughout the event.
