The race is one large loop which turns and comes back to the start/finish area at the Nest Car Park, near the middle of the Hamsterley Forest Drive

The Hamsterley 10 Miler begins at the Nest Car Park and is quickly followed by a challenging first 5km with steady climbs.
The Hamsterley 5 Miler is an 'out and back' course which incorparates wonderful scenery with some steady climbs near the turn.
