Are you tuff enough for this run?
Runners invited to take on this tough multi-terrain event for a West Midlands heart charity.
Action Heart challenges you to run 6 miles along single tracks, through water, up hills and in the mud to feel mighty epic! Join in the fun with hundreds of others at 11am on Sunday 20 November whilst supporting this local charity and be rewarded with a t-shirt along with a huge ‘thank you’.
If you normally run on the road but fancy something different then give the Action Heart Tuff-Un event a go. It is held in Baggeridge Country Park in South Staffordshire – a popular, Green Flag visitor attraction with plenty to see and do. There are trails, woodland, grassland and wetland, the variety of which make it an ideal location for a race where the aim is to test your limits on an undulating course.
“Come on in, the mud is lovely”. Participants can expect a fair amount of the claggy stuff especially if there is rain beforehand but rest assured this is all part of the experience, slipping and sliding your way to glory. A pair of trail shoes with a good grip is recommended instead of your trusty racing flats.
Action Heart is a cardiac rehabilitation programme at Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley, West Midlands. A registered charity, it cares for a large number of patients with heart issues who benefit from the personalised service and facilities on offer which enable them to live a normal life.
This race is a favourite with many runners and places are likely to be snapped up. If you are wondering if you are tough enough then there is only one way to find out...
Enter the Action Heart Tuff-Un right here. The prices are £16 for affiliated runners and £18 for unattached.
