Wolf Run

Back To Basics!

Wolf Run Trails brings pure off-road running to the Midlands...

The Wolf Run, best known for its obstacle-filled muddy challenges, is launching a brand new event that takes things back to basics. Wolf Run Trails will debut on 14 September at Offchurch Bury, near Leamington Spa, offering runners the chance to experience the wild without the walls, pits and barriers.

The event features three distances, with 3K, 5K and 10K options designed to suit all abilities and ages. The shortest distance provides an introduction to trail running and a family-friendly experience, while the 5K offers a mid-range challenge and the 10K promises a true off-road test for seasoned trail runners. All routes are fully off-road, canicross-friendly and set against the rugged backdrop of the Warwickshire countryside.

Organisers say: "The new format retains everything people love about the Wolf Run; the wilderness, atmosphere and festival-style event village, but swaps the man-made obstacles for natural trails. It’s true trail running, but done the Wolf Run way. No well-trodden, manicured paths or paved tracks… this is wild running, exactly as nature intended!"

The courses will take runners across rolling hills, ancient woodland and uneven ground, with routes designed to be challenging yet accessible. Finishers will earn a bespoke medal and can soak up the atmosphere in the event village afterwards.
