Charity Run Returns To Crosby
Head to the coast for a 10K option with charity at its heart...
Runners and walkers will gather at Crosby Leisure Centre on 14 September for Nathan’s Charity Run, an event dedicated to providing hope and help for young people with thoughts of suicide. The run supports PAPYRUS, a UK charity working to prevent young suicide, with every £12 entry fee going directly towards their life-saving services.
The day offers something for everyone, whether you are chasing a personal best or simply taking part for a great cause. Participants can choose between a 5K or 10K run, with the route starting on grass before joining the promenade and heading along the seafront.
Trophies will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in both the 5K and 10K runs, while young runners under 13 can take part in the 5K if accompanied by a parent or guardian, with medals for the first three finishers.
Organisers say: "Nathan’s Charity Run is more than a sporting event - it is a day of community spirit, remembrance and solidarity, aiming to spread a message of hope while raising awareness for a cause that touches many lives."
