The Wirral 10K returns on Sunday 11 October, offering runners one of the flattest and fastest road races in the North West. Starting and finishing on Coastal Drive in New Brighton, the event combines outstanding views across the River Mersey with a course designed for both personal best hunters and first time 10K runners.

Beginning at 9.30am from Ian Fraser Walk, the route follows the waterfront towards the Seacombe Ferry Terminal before turning for the return journey to New Brighton. Throughout the race, runners are treated to panoramic views of the Liverpool skyline, creating one of the most distinctive backdrops to any 10K in the region.

With minimal elevation throughout, the Wirral 10K is ideally suited to runners looking to improve their 10K time or complete the distance in an accessible, supportive environment. The combination of smooth roads, coastal scenery and enthusiastic encouragement along the route makes it a popular fixture in the autumn running calendar.

Every entrant benefits from chip timing, an exclusive finisher's medal, commemorative T shirt, goody bag and a professionally organised race experience. Open to runners aged 15 and over, the event welcomes club athletes, recreational runners and those taking on their first organised 10K alike.

Whether your goal is a new personal best or simply enjoying a memorable run beside the Mersey, the Wirral 10K delivers a fast course and spectacular scenery in equal measure.

Entries are available via the runABC Wirral 10K race hub here.
