The Redcar Running Festival returns on Sunday 27 September, bringing another full day of road running to the North Yorkshire coast. Organised by New Marske Harriers, the festival combines the Redcar Half Marathon, the popular Zetland 10K and a 3K Young Athletes Race and Fun Run, offering something for runners of every age and ability.

All races are held on fully closed roads, with the Half Marathon, Zetland 10K and 3K courses officially certified. The Redcar Half Marathon also serves as an England Masters qualification event, attracting competitive club runners alongside those taking on the 13.1 mile distance for the first time.

The Zetland 10K starts at 9.10am, followed by the 3K event at 9.15am and the Half Marathon at 10.00am. Chip timing is provided across all races, with finishers in the Half Marathon and 10K receiving both a commemorative medal and event T shirt, while 3K finishers receive a medal.

This year's event also celebrates the 40th anniversary of New Marske Harriers. To mark the occasion, the official 2026 event T shirt features Redcar's iconic blast furnace, recognising an important part of the town's industrial heritage alongside the club's own history.

With discounted entry available until the end of August and places limited across all three races, runners planning to be part of one of North Yorkshire's best established running festivals are encouraged to secure their place before the next entry deadline.

Entries are available via Entry Central here.
