The Warrington Running Festival returns on Sunday 20 September, bringing another day of road running to the heart of Cheshire with events for runners of every age and ability. Organised by RunThrough and presented by New York Bakery Co., the popular festival features a Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and Fun Run, creating a celebration of running for the whole community.

Starting and finishing in Bank Park, the routes take competitors through Warrington town centre before returning to a lively event village packed with supporters, entertainment and refreshments. Whether you're aiming for a personal best, completing your first organised race or enjoying a family day out, the festival offers an inclusive atmosphere from start to finish.

The Half Marathon and 10K get the action under way at 9.00am, followed by the 5K at 9.15am and the Fun Run at 11.30am. Every finisher receives a unique themed medal, live chip timed results, free official race photographs and post race goodies, while friendly marshals and accurately marked kilometre points help runners throughout the course.

The event also supports St Rocco's Hospice, continuing the festival's commitment to giving back to the local community while promoting health, fitness and participation. Sustainability also remains an important focus, with RunThrough continuing to develop initiatives aimed at reducing the environmental impact of its events.

With race day fast approaching, now is an excellent time to secure your place and experience one of Cheshire's most welcoming running festivals this autumn.
