Glenlivet 10K to welcome runners with open arms

Places still left for Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland’s flagship 10K fundraiser

After a break of two years, the Glenlivet Distillery will again play host to what’s come to be known as ‘the most beautiful run in Scotland’, the Glenlivet 10K.

Organised by the charity Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland, the race takes place in the stunning landscape of the Glenlivet Crown Estate, in the Heart of the Cairngorms National Park. The route itself follows quiet country roads next to the River Livet, winding past ancient castles and jaw-dropping viewpoints along the way.

This year’s event, to be held on Sunday, 31 October, will be the 11th edition of the race.

The last edition, in April 2019, was a spectacular celebration of the event’s first decade – and the run’s important role in raising funds for CHSS.

All proceeds from the entry fees for the Glenlivet 10K go directly to support CHSS’ work with people with life-changing illness in Scotland’s communities, in order to give them the best possible chance of leading stronger, longer and better quality lives.

With places for the Halloween run still available, runners of all abilities still have time to make a vital difference to people’s lives just by entering. They can make even more of a difference by getting sponsored for their run, making a donation, or bringing along any unwanted clothing and bric-a-brac to be passed on to local Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland charity shops.
