Riverside Running Returns At The Evesham Town 10K

Popular Evesham 10K returns...

The Evesham Town 10K returns to Worcestershire on Sunday 5 July 2026, offering runners a popular summer 10K around the streets, parks and riverside paths of historic Evesham with a 9:30am start from Crown Meadow.

Organised by Evesham Vale Running Club, the accurate chip timed route combines town centre roads with scenic riverside sections and parkland paths, creating a varied course that appeals to both experienced club runners and those stepping up to the distance. While some parts of the route are unsealed, the course remains suitable for standard running shoes and continues to attract strong fields each summer.

Now celebrating 19 years, the race has become a well established fixture in the Midlands running calendar, helped by its welcoming atmosphere and picturesque setting along the River Avon. Its mix of fast sections, community support and central location continues to make it a popular race with runners from across the region.

Entries are now open with places expected to fill steadily ahead of race day. The race village on Crown Meadow will once again provide refreshments, baggage storage and post race facilities, while water stations on the course will be particularly important given the potential for warm summer conditions in early July.

Evesham Vale Running Club continues to play a central role in delivering the event, with the local club helping maintain the race’s strong reputation for organisation and community involvement. Their long standing connection with the event has helped establish the Evesham Town 10K as one of Worcestershire’s key summer races.

With scenic riverside running, a welcoming race village and nearly two decades of history behind it, the Evesham Town 10K continues to stand out as a popular and reliable summer event in the Midlands running calendar.
