Well Run Races To Savour

Beautiful trails, welcoming venues, varied events for all...

If you are looking for a well-run race series in the Cotswold countryside, you've come to the right place.

The 2026 Well Run race series kicked off on Wednesday evening (20 May) with a glorious 5K and 10K Summer Trail event at Dunkertons Park, near Cheltenham. The Well Run – Dunkertons Park 5K and 10K Summer Trail event was founded by DV Events and Well Human, and full results are available at the runABC race listing here.

The home of Dunkertons Cider boasts its own informal Dunkertons Run Club, meeting every Sunday morning for a friendly, guided 5K trail run through the beautiful Dowdeswell Wood, around the peaceful reservoir, and across the open greenery of Dunkertons Park.

Well Run – Hawkstone 10K, 5K and 1K Kids Fun Run takes place from 6:30pm on Wednesday, 8 July 2026. College Farm, Stow Road, Bourton-on-the-Water, is the venue with refreshments available from the Race HQ at Hawkstone Brewery. Entries are available here.

It's back to Dunkertons Park on Wednesday, 21 October 2026, for the Well Run – Dunkertons Park 5K Night Trail Run, starting at 7:00pm. Bring your head torch and light up the trails as you chase, weave, and climb through the dark in a trail race with a twist. Click here to enter.

One month later, on Sunday, 22 November 2026, the Well Run Series reaches its climax with the Well Run – Far Peak Half Marathon, 10K, and 3K and 1K Kids Fun Runs from 9:00am at The Old Smokery, Far Peak, Northleach.

The main events take place in the beautiful Cotswolds and welcome runners aged 15 and above (10K) and 18 and above (Half Marathon) to participate in the undulating road races, set against breathtaking scenery. Follow this link to enter.

Well Run races aim to encourage runners of all abilities to participate, with the ethos of hosting a friendly, inclusive event that fosters a strong social community and promotes good mental wellbeing for all.
