Fast Staffordshire Running Returns At Stone 10K
Fast Stone 10K returns...
The Stone St Michael’s 10K returns on Sunday 21 June 2026 as runners head back to Staffordshire for one of the region’s best known fast road races. Organised from St Michael’s First School in Stone, the long established event continues to attract club runners, PB chasers and local runners from across the Midlands.
The popular two lap course takes place around the canal town of Stone and has earned a reputation as one of the flattest and quickest 10K routes in Staffordshire. The road layout and consistently strong fields regularly make it a target race for runners looking to produce fast summer times.
The race remains an important part of the North Staffs Road Runners Association calendar and continues to feature prominently within the local club racing scene. Strong community support, experienced organisation and a welcoming atmosphere have helped the event build a loyal following over more than three decades.
Alongside prizes for leading runners and age categories, organisers also award the fastest local resident. Finishers receive medals, while refreshments and the traditional cake stall remain part of the post race atmosphere at the finish area.
The 2026 edition starts at 9am, with entries available online ahead of race day. Demand is again expected for one of Staffordshire’s most established summer 10Ks.
