Windsor Womens 10K 2017 finisher

Entries closing soon for Windsor Womens 10K

Online entries for one of Britain's biggest and best all-female road races close at midnight tomorrow (Wednesday, 26 September). Running4Women Windsor Womens 10K takes place in the historic Berkshire market town at 10am this Saturday, 29 September 2018.

The 15th annual Running4Women Windsor Womens 10K will once again start and finish in front of Windsor Castle with the iconic view down Long Walk to the Royal residence being one of the highlights for runners.

Last year's race winner was Georgie Bruinvels (Aldershot, 37:19), representing sponsors Hoka One One, from 620 finishers in 2:15:30. The windy conditions did not prevent more than 180 women beating the hour on this exciting course through Windsor Great Park.

Five-time Olympian, European 10,000m champion and mother-of-two Jo Pavey is the official race starter. Jo will also run the 10K and will then be available to offer tips and advice to all in the Running4Women marquee after the race.

Every runner will have a fantastic experience with free car parking and baggage drop; toilets on course; children's entertainment; aerobic warm-up; pacers and a commemorative medal and souvenir T-shirt in a comprehensive race support package.

Windsor Womens 10K is the opening event for Run Windsor running weekend with the fully subscribed 36th Windsor Half Marathon taking place on Sunday (30 September).
