Capital to Country is a multi day ultra running adventure organised by Go Beyond Events in Nepal. The event takes runners on an approximately 120 Mile journey from the Kathmandu Valley into the surrounding countryside, with five challenging stages showcasing the region's mountain landscapes, traditional villages and local culture.
The route follows a mixture of mountain paths, jeep tracks and rural roads, with steep climbs and descents throughout the journey. Runners travel through forested hills, terraced farmland and remote communities, experiencing panoramic Himalayan views and traditional Nepalese hospitality. The self sufficient format requires participants to carry their own food and essential running equipment, with overnight camps and village accommodation providing opportunities to rest between stages.
Participants receive GPS trackers for live location monitoring, alongside support from local guides and medical personnel. The event includes transport, campsite facilities, cultural experiences and a traditional celebration at the finish. Every finisher receives a commemorative trophy, recognising the achievement of completing this demanding multi stage ultra.
