New sportswear brand becomes official partner for BTR Liverpool...

A new premium sportswear brand launched in Liverpool has been unveiled as an official partner of BTR Liverpool for its 2026 race calendar. Canvas Athletic will begin its partnership by kitting out the pacer team at the sold out Liverpool Half Marathon and 10 Mile Road Race on Sunday 15 March. The event is expected to welcome 15,000 runners and will feature a new start location for 2026 at Hill Dickinson Stadium, home of Everton Football Club.

The collaboration will extend throughout the year, with Canvas Athletic supporting pacers across BTR’s event portfolio and working alongside the organiser to develop a new run club initiative.

The brand is based in Cleveland Square in Liverpool city centre, close to Liverpool ONE, and already hosts a weekly 5K run titled Never Miss A Monday. The session, led by qualified coaches, starts and finishes at the Canvas Athletic base and has quickly attracted a growing following.

As part of the new agreement, BTR Liverpool will host monthly takeovers of the Never Miss A Monday run, offering participants the chance to train together between race days and strengthen ties within the local running scene.

Canvas Athletic was created by sports industry figures including Kieran Owens and John Gillies, the brand combines performance apparel expertise with a modern aesthetic, producing technical and everyday pieces designed for training, racing and gym sessions.
