CHSS Scottish Half Marathon

All in a good cause at Scottish Half Marathon & 10K

19 September sees the return of big race action. Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland wants you on their team to help #nolifehalflived

Big race action returns to Scotland in just over six weeks with the popular early autumn double header – Scottish Half Marathon and Scottish 10K. Places are still available for both events which enjoy great routes on the East Lothian Golf Coast and a brilliant finish at Musselburgh racecourse.

There's still time to be part of the big day on Sunday 19 September and put your fitness to the test. Maybe you've upped your training commitment during the travails of lockdown? Or have taken up running in the last year to improve your physical and mental wellbeing?

Either way there's nothing quite like a big race day to spur you on to greater efforts. And the rewards are waiting for you on a course that is 'seriously flat and rapid'.

Another greater motivator is running for a good cause. One charity that would be delighted to have you on their team is Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland (CHSS). CHSS is working hard in these difficult times to provide vital services and help change lives to help make sure there’s no life half lived in Scotland.

Combining Scottish Half Marathon or Scottish 10K entry with support for CHSS is the perfect way to get you into race action AND to make a difference to hundreds of lives across Scotland. Pledges for these charity places aren't too demanding with minimum sponsorship targets of £125 (10K) and £200 (Half Marathon).

Whether you’ve never run before, or you’re preparing for your 100th event, you can’t afford to miss out on what is going to be the ‘must-do’ running event of 2021. CHSS have charity places in both runs so get in touch, sign up and receive your free CHSS running pack!

Find out more about being part of Team CHSS and wearing the charity colours with pride on 19 September at the CHSS website.
