Seaside Race 6 is the final event in the Wirral Seaside Runs series, a long established summer series organised by Pensby Runners. The 5K road race starts near Leasowe Lighthouse before following the Wirral coastline on a flat, traffic free course.
The point to point route heads along the sea embankment from Moreton to the finish on Harrison Drive near the Lifeguard Station. Known for its flat profile and exposed coastal setting, the course has become a popular benchmark for runners tracking their fitness throughout the series.
Held on the final Wednesday of each month from March to August, the Wirral Seaside Runs have been a fixture of the Merseyside running calendar for more than 30 years. The fast course and welcoming atmosphere continue to attract club runners, first time racers and anyone looking for an enjoyable evening 5K by the sea.
