Starting from the same location as last year, Sourton Village Hall, heading up to Sourton Tors and looping back round the valley and returning to Sourton Village Hall. There are compulsory checkpoint. Near the Ice Works, the trig point at Sourton Tors the descent to Lake Moorgate and the pit south west of the tors.
The route is entirely off-road with most on the open moorland of Dartmoor. Whilst providing a challenge is within the capabilities of most runners. After the race enjoy a drink and a meal in the Highwayman Inn (you may want to book if wanting to eat there).
