Grab A Spot At Sheffield's Premium Trail Race

Sheffield's Ten Ten Ten returns this October, be quick and bag yourself a spot!

It is 13 years lucky for the Sheffield TenTenTen which will return to Endcliffe Park on 8 October and we've heard on the grapevine that entries are now open! Attracting over 1000 runners each year, the 10K race offers runners an exciting and creative multi-terrain course as well as a great atmosphere for participants, spectators and volunteers alike.

The course has been develped with a twist of creativity and innovation. Organisers say: "This is not your regular road race, it is run on grass, road, paved paths and flowing woodland trails.

"It's a really balanced mix and introduces novices to the world of trail running gently. The course does have a few lumps and bumps, twists and turns, and all adds to the challenge and fun."

The nature of the course makes this an inclusive event, attracting a wide range of running abilities from those completing their first ever 10K, to those who have represented their country at the elite level. Organisers comment that 'many have started their running journey at this event, and caught the running bug by doing so'.

Sarah Turton commented on Facebook after 2022's staging: "What an amazing day. From someone that is only about a year into her running journey this event was amazing. I was one of the final runners to come in, it was the marshall's and other runners that kept me going. Thanks everyone, I will be back next year!"

The first edition of the event was staged on 10 October 2010, hence the name, and over the last 13 years participants have not only enjoyed the exciting course, many of them have also helped raised £70,000+ for Weston Park Hospital - one of only three dedicated cancer hospitals in the UK.
