Manchester Half Marathon July 2023

Set To Be Manchester’s Biggest Half Marathon

2023 looks like being a record year for Manchester favourite...

We are rapidly approaching the three-month mark before the Manchester Half Marathon. With a huge influx of entries, this event is set to be the largest in the region as more than 11,000 runners have already registered to participate, and an estimated 15,000 participants are expected to run. This comes as no surprise after the success of last year’s event and the triumph of its sister event, the UK’s 2nd largest marathon, the adidas Manchester Marathon back in April.

The Manchester Half Marathon is well known for its flat PB friendly course, captivating on-route entertainment, and enthusiastic supporters. Recently, the route for this year's event was finalised, bringing back the popular changes that were made last year which allowed runners to explore even more areas of Manchester than ever before. Participants eagerly anticipate the return of the beloved section that passes through the iconic city centre.

The start and finish area as in previous years will be near Old Trafford, and this year, once again, the Manchester Half will cruise into the vibrant city centre. As usual, you can expect cheer stations and unrivalled support from the crowds as you conquer the 13.1 mile course. Organisers suggest that you should think 'loud' then double it!

In the coming weeks, organisers will unveil the exciting theme for this year's event, adding an extra element of enjoyment. To ensure your spot in Manchester's most sought-after half marathon, act now to secure your entry before they sell out!

Although individual entries for the adidas Manchester Marathon, the sister event of the Manchester Half, are currently closed, you have the opportunity to secure a duo entry which will ensure you an entry into the Manchester Half 2023 as well as the adidas Manchester Marathon 2024.
