Setting off through the village itself, with ample opportunities for spectator viewing. Runners will then head off-road up the tree lined track, site of David Hockney's famous painting, The Tunnel, after which a climb to the top of hill will provide breath-taking views of the Wolds. The route then continues across Sheep Rake Lane before re-joining the tarmac road for the remainder of the run back down into the village, finishing at the Playing Field. Depending on the weather it could be wet and muddy in places.
