Jedburgh Running Festival

Jog On To Jedburgh

Jedburgh's Running Festival is an inclusive and fun affair, make a date with The Borders this autumn...

Every year around 1,000 athletes of all abilities converge on the Scottish Borders town of Jedburgh for its ultra, Half Marathon and 10K races - all part of the Jedburgh Running Festival. In 2024, the autumn event will take place over 26/27 October.

Entry for Saturday's Three Peaks Ultramarathon and Canicross events are not yet available, but it's all systems go for Sunday's proceedings which are made up of the Half Marathon and 10K distances. The Half Marathon will be taking place for the 18th time, while the 10K will celebrate 11 years of running in 2024.

Both the Half Marathon and 10K's route is an enjoyable mixture of rural single carrigeway and open flat closed road, they start at the same time and travel in the same direction but at the 5K turnaround point, half marathon runners will continue on along the A698 towards Kelso. Both events finish to a warm welcome on the grass by the river opposite Queen Mary's house.

All runners have the option of buying a race t-shirt made of high quality technical fabric and available in a variety of sizes. All finishers will receive a commemorative medal. Last year, donations from runners registering for the road races raised £870 for the My Name’5 Doddy Foundation; this year’s charity is Cancer Research UK.
