Organised by Wild Deer Events, the festival offers something for every ability, from a Family 1 Mile through to an Ultra Marathon.

Set within the 1,000 acre Dalkeith Country Park just outside Edinburgh, the event showcases a varied mix of woodland trails, estate paths, grassy sections and more rugged terrain. Runners can choose from 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, Marathon and Ultra Marathon distances, with the longer races completing multiple laps of the picturesque course.

The festival welcomes newcomers looking to experience trail running for the first time alongside experienced runners taking on longer distances. Canicross competitors are also invited to take part, with one well controlled dog permitted per runner, adding to the inclusive atmosphere that has become a hallmark of Wild Deer Events.

Live chip timing will be provided throughout the day, while every finisher will receive a medal, Wild Deer merchandise and a VOOM Nutrition energy bar. Participants can also purchase an official event T shirt when entering, with on site parking available throughout race day.
