The Heights Ultra Trail HUTFEST is a charity trail running festival in West Yorkshire, featuring a flagship 50 mile ultra alongside 50K, 27K, 10K and junior races. Starting from Broad Oak Cricket Club in Linthwaite, the event showcases the dramatic landscapes of the Colne and Holme valleys while raising funds for local rural primary schools.
The courses follow a network of trails, moorland paths and tracks through the Pennine countryside, with the longer distances covering approximately 90% off road terrain. Fully waymarked routes, well stocked feed stations and a welcoming event village provide excellent support for runners throughout the day.
From first time trail runners tackling the 10K to experienced ultra runners taking on the 50 mile challenge, HUTFEST offers a rewarding day on the trails with varied routes, spectacular views and a strong community atmosphere.
