The Fen 10 is a flat 10 mile road race through the Fenland countryside around West Walton near Wisbech. Starting from West Walton School, the England Athletics licensed event follows open roads through the surrounding rural landscape.
The largely flat course gives runners plenty of opportunity to target a quick 10 mile time, with enthusiastic marshals positioned around the route and two water stations along the way. The race is chip timed, with age category prizes determined by chip time and the first three male and female finishers determined by gun time.
Organised by Fenland Running Club, the race has an entry limit of 300 runners and does not accept entries on the day. Cash prizes are awarded across the leading overall and age category positions, with an additional prize available for breaking the male or female course record.
