London's most inclusive 10K returns

London Frontrunners continue to set the pace with their 10K race

Pride Run 10K returns to Victoria Park in all its vibrant, colourful, fun, and fully inclusive glory on Saturday 17th September.

Last year's 17th Pride Run 10K featured a celebrity race starter in Great Britain international race walker Tom Bosworth; post-race non-alcoholic beer from Athletic Brewing Company and one of the best goody bags with thoughtful touches like wash kits from Green People Organic.

After her 61-minute effort in 2021, Camilla Hawkins posted this on Facebook: "An event with a lovely atmosphere and a very important message. Thank you to all the volunteers today and still the best goodie bag I've had at any race!"

There were 501 finishers in 1:32:56 and the front runners were M40 Stuart Haynes (33:02) – who was running unattached but has now joined Woodbridge Shufflers in Suffolk – and W35 Jemma Whyman (Medway & Maidstone, 41:55).

The three-lap course in London's oldest purpose-built park is quick and just under 200 runners ducked under the 50-minute threshold on a warm September morning in 2021.

Pride Run 10K, in partnership with Dolphin Square SW1 Living, is a not-for-profit event organised by volunteers from London Frontrunners, an inclusive running and triathlon club for lesbians, gay and bisexual men and women, transgender and gay-friendly people.

We found out what puts London Frontrunners out there as Europe's first and largest LGBT+ and gay-friendly club with over 500 members in this Q&A club feature in 2018.

Entries for the 18th Pride Run 10K – supporting Micro Rainbow International Foundation – are available at £20/£22 and there is also a 2K Pride Run Fun Run for children for just £5 available via the official race website here
