Hastings Seafront 10K returns on Sunday 4 October 2026 with a simple attraction for anyone who enjoys their racing flat, fast and beside the sea.

Organised by Running and Riding, the race starts at 9:00am from the Hastings seafront, with race headquarters at Hastings and St Leonards Angling Association on Marine Parade.

From there, runners tackle a completely flat out and back course along the seafront. With no hills to disrupt the rhythm, the route offers experienced runners an opportunity to target a quick 10K while remaining an approachable choice for those tackling the distance for the first time.

The coastal setting adds another dimension. Sea views accompany runners around the course, while supporters along the seafront can provide encouragement before the field makes its way back towards the finish.

Race day registration opens at 7:30am, with runners collecting their race packs before the start. The route will be marked and marshalled, and chip timing will provide finishing times.

There will also be a bag drop and toilets at race headquarters, with refreshments available. Finishers receive a medal, while trophies are awarded to the leading performers.

Open to runners aged 15 and over, Hastings Seafront 10K offers a straightforward autumn racing proposition. Ten kilometres, a flat course and the English Channel for company.

Entries are available now via the runABC race hub.
