The Penguins Are Primed!
The London Winter Run is sold out but here's how you can still be involved...
The Cancer Research UK London Winter Run 10K on Sunday 23rd February 2025 reached capacity earlier this month and no further entries are being taken. However, some volunteer roles are still available if you would like to support London's coolest 10K.
Volunteering is a fantastic way to engage with major sporting events, develop skills and make a valuable contribution as part of a team. CRUK London Winter Run organisers are looking for enthusiastic, proactive and practical volunteers to fulfil various roles. Still available are opportunities to dress up as a Snowman, Husky, Yeti, or Penguin! Whatever your role on the day, you’ll be making a vital contribution to the success of this super event.
The London Winter Run will return to the heart of London in five weeks for a celebratory 10th-anniversary edition. The charity run is a massive event with over 20,000 people running and a unique wintry atmosphere enhanced by an army of volunteers in character roles.
Last year's champions were Jonathan Davies (28:46) and Emma Pallant (32:33) representing Team HOKA. There were 17,790 finishers with around 400 of them under 40 minutes. More than 3,000 were under 50 minutes and 8,646 beat the hour.
The route passes many of London's world-famous landmarks on fully-closed roads. You will experience live music performances and encounter larger-than-life winter characters, with a stunning 10th-anniversary edition medal waiting for you at the finish.
