RBC cheer station at London Landmarks Half Marathon 2026

Landmark Wins For Stefan And Katja

Charity was the biggest winner at the London Landmarks Half Marathon...

The London Landmarks Half Marathon (LLHM) was delighted to renew its partnership with Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) for the 2026 event, which was held on Sunday, 12th April. To mark the occasion, RBC donated 10 runner places to each of their three regional Signature Charity partners: Trees for Cities, The Kings Trust, and Ronald McDonald House Charities UK.

They joined more than 200 Team RBC runners – including 50 employees who ran to support pregnancy and baby charity Tommy’s, the proud organisers of the LLHM. RBC employee volunteers also provided a lively on-course cheer station – pictured above.

Around 20,000 runners took part, including celebrities like singer, songwriter, and actress Alexandra Burke (1:47:29) and radio DJ and TV presenter Jo Whiley (2:30:19). On finishing, Alexandra Burke said: “It was amazing, so, so incredible. The support out there in the streets of London was unreal. We’re just very proud to have done it for Tommy’s. If you’ve ever run a London Landmarks, you need to do it for Tommy’s, guys. Come on, do it. It’s amazing to see something so much bigger than yourself and how that feeds everyone. It’s what the world needs now.”

With Tommy's taking the lead role, the LLHM is a significant fundraiser, with this year's run expected to raise over £18 million for more than 800 charity partners. The total raised for charity by the event since its inception in 2018 has now surpassed £85 million.

The route follows a closed-road course that starts near Downing Street and takes the runners past 16 of London’s famous landmarks, including Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, St Paul's Cathedral, The Shard, Tower of London, and The Gherkin, with a finish beside Nelson’s Column in Trafalgar Square.

Over 500 themed charity cheer stations lined the circuit, including live music performances, Notting Hill Carnival dancers, and a "Right Royal Finish", where medals were presented by Chelsea Pensioners and Pearly Kings and Queens!

A total of 19,869 finished the 13.1-mile course inside five hours. At the sharp end, we saw a sub-69-minute victory for Stefan Otway (Brentwood Beagles AC, 1:08:31 PB), followed by Eoin Molloy (Belgrave Harriers, 1:12:29) and Gregor Findlay (unattached, 1:12:56).

The top three women finished inside 85 minutes. Katja Kostrencic (unattached) led the way in 1:22:13 from Georgia Coles (1:23:11) and Amelia Halil (1:24:34).
