Hundred House 10K

New Name, Fresh Challenge

A mid-Wales favourite returns in 2025 with a new identity and a new date in the calendar...

Runners looking for a stunning and rewarding 10K this summer should mark their calendars for Sunday, 29 June when the Hundred House 10K makes its return. Formerly known as The Hill Billy, the race has a new name, a new time of year and a fresh challenge but it remains the same well-loved event with breathtaking scenery and a warm welcome.

Organised by Builth & District Running Club, the 10K loop begins and ends near the Hundred House Inn in Llandrindod Wells, taking runners through quiet, undulating country lanes with spectacular views of mid-Wales. The fast downhill finish makes for an exciting end to the race, with every finisher receiving a medal and post-race refreshments by the pub.

For those chasing records, there’s an added incentive this year - a £100 cash prize for any runner who sets a new course record. The times to beat are 36:29 for men and 41:24 for women.

The event will once again feature an Event Village, showcasing local businesses, running-related products and community stalls. With the race starting and finishing at the Hundred House Inn, runners will have access to parking, toilets and the perfect post-run reward - a meal and a drink at the pub.

Set in the heart of Powys, this race offers a challenging but enjoyable course, a fantastic race-day atmosphere and one of the most scenic running experiences in Wales.
