Fast And Flat Easter Challenge
This fast 10K offers the perfect was to spend Easter Sunday...
Runners looking for a quick 10K this spring should mark their calendars for the Crewe 10K, taking place on Easter Sunday (20 April) at the Apollo Buckingham Health Science Campus. Organised by South Cheshire Harriers, this well-established event is known for its fast, flat course and excellent race-day atmosphere.
The race action starts on Electra Way and follows a two-lap route around the edge of Crewe town centre, featuring long, straight sections perfect for PB chasers. The course takes runners towards Crewe Road, loops around the industrial estate and includes a scenic but twisty woodland section before returning to the finish.
Organisers told us: "With plenty of marshals ensuring smooth navigation and enthusiastic spectators cheering at key points like the Electra Way roundabout, runners can expect fantastic support all the way to the line."
Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers, along with the first-placed male and female in the vets categories. Every finisher will receive a goodie bag packed with an Easter Egg, buff, water and other treats - making it an egg-cellent way to celebrate the Easter weekend!
The current course records stand at 31:23 set by David Webb in 2019 and 35:44 set by Sarah Johnson of Thames Valley Harriers in 2017. With a reputation for superb organisation and a fast, spectator-friendly route, the Crewe 10K is a must-run event for anyone looking to test their speed this April.
