The Wirral 10K is organised by BTR Liverpool and takes place on the scenic waterfront at New Brighton. Ideal for first time 10K runners and experienced athletes alike, the event follows one of the flattest road race courses in the North West, making it a popular choice for personal best attempts as well as an enjoyable day by the coast.
Starting and finishing on Coastal Drive, the accurately measured out and back course follows the River Mersey towards Seacombe Ferry Terminal before returning to New Brighton. Throughout the race, runners enjoy uninterrupted waterfront running and spectacular views across the estuary to Liverpool's famous skyline. Professional chip timing, an exclusive finisher's medal, commemorative T shirt, goody bag and excellent event organisation combine to make the Wirral 10K one of the region's leading autumn road races.
