The BTR Wirral 10K is a fast, flat 10K road race organised by BTR Liverpool from New Brighton on the Wirral in Merseyside.
The out and back course follows the waterfront towards Seacombe Ferry Terminal, passing Fort Perch Rock and using long stretches of promenade beside the River Mersey. Panoramic views across the water towards the Liverpool skyline provide a distinctive backdrop, while the predominantly flat profile and long, runnable sections create good conditions for runners targeting a 10K personal best.
The event is chip timed and supported by marshals around the course, with water available for runners. The waterfront location provides plenty of space for spectators around the start and finish, adding to the race day atmosphere. Finishers receive a medal, technical T shirt and goody bag before completing their race experience back on the New Brighton waterfront.
