Run To Anfield 2026

Unique Liverpool 5K Finishes Inside Anfield

Run finishes at famous Kop...

Run To Anfield returns to Liverpool on Saturday 1 August 2026 with runners once again given the chance to finish inside one of football’s most famous stadiums. Organised by the LFC Foundation, the popular 5K event starts at 97 Avenue beside Anfield before heading through Stanley Park and back towards the stadium finish.

The route is designed to be accessible for all abilities, with runners, joggers and walkers all welcome across the scenic parkland course. Participants then enter Anfield Stadium after crossing the line, with the opportunity to take photos beside the Kop and collect a commemorative medal and event t shirt.

Alongside the main 5K, organisers are also staging a 1K Fun Run aimed at families and younger runners. The relaxed atmosphere and football setting have helped the event quickly build popularity with both Liverpool supporters and local runners looking for a different race day experience.

Entries are now open with places limited to 2,000 participants. The event is not officially timed, keeping the focus on enjoyment and fundraising, with runners encouraged to support the work of the LFC Foundation through optional charity fundraising.

Entries are now available via runABC here.
